Epoxy & Polyaspartic Floors in
Conover, NC

Our high-performance polyaspartic and epoxy installations are engineered for rapid turnaround without sacrificing surface prep quality. You can walk on the floor in sock feet in just hours, and park your vehicles back inside in 24 to 48 hours depending on humidity and system specs. Traditional DIY epoxy takes up to a week, which is why our commercial-grade systems are the preferred choice for busy homeowners.

DIY hardware store epoxy kits are water-based paints that only coat the surface, leading to hot-tire peeling within 6 to 12 months. Soares Epoxy installs 100% solids industrial polyaspartic that is 4x stronger than standard epoxy, penetrates deep into the concrete pores via diamond mechanical grinding, and is 100% UV-stable so it will never yellow or delaminate.

Cost typically ranges from $5.50 to $8.50 per square foot for a complete multi-layer polyaspartic system, depending on slab condition, crack repairs needed, and total square footage. A standard 2-car garage (400-500 sq ft) generally ranges between $2,400 and $3,800 with all diamond prep, crack repairs, high-wear protective coats, and 12-month warranty included. We provide 100% free on-site estimates with exact pricing.

No! Hot-tire pickup occurs when soft DIY paints melt and bond to hot tires as the car cools. Our industrial polyaspartic systems have a heat tolerance exceeding 300°F and a cross-linked chemical bond that cannot be pulled up by tires. We back this with our 12-Month Adhesion Guarantee.

Surface preparation is 90% of a floor’s longevity. We never use weak acid etching. Instead, we use heavy industrial planetary diamond grinders connected to HEPA dust extractors to open the concrete pores to a Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) 2-3 standard. We then fill all cracks and divots with high-strength structural epoxy mortar before applying the base coat.

Maintenance is remarkably easy! Because the surface is seamless and non-porous, dust and dirt stay on top. Simply sweep with a soft dust mop or rinse with warm water and a mild pH-neutral cleaner like Simple Green. For spills, wipe immediately with a rag or squeegee. No waxing or re-sealing is ever required.

Yes! We specialize in concrete restoration. During our mechanical prep phase, we chase and inject all cracks with structural epoxy, patch spalled holes with fast-setting polymer mortar, and diamond grind the entire slab flat before coating. Your finished floor will look like brand-new concrete was poured.

Our residential 12-Month Warranty covers against peeling, blistering, hot-tire pickup, delamination, and application failure. It reflects our confidence in our industrial-grade materials and diamond preparation process.
